Der Wind wurde stärker. Der warme Felsen erwärmte die Luft. Die warme Luft stieg auf. Sie trug Polly nach oben.
Auf halber Höhe ruhte sie sich auf einem kleinen Vorsprung aus. Sie konnte die Kabelroute sehen. Menschen klettern an Kabeln den Rücken der Kuppel hinauf. Sie war für den Frühling geschlossen.
Oben war das Granit flach. Es gab kleine Steinhaufen. Menschen hatten sie hinterlassen.
Sie ging zum Rand. Sie schaute hinunter. Das Tal lag weit unten. Die Bäume sahen aus wie grüner Flaum.
Sie stieß sich am Rand ab und machte einen kleinen Sturzflug. Dann öffnete sie ihre Flügel und glitt hinunter.
