Un crater, două culori

Polly a privit în jos, într-un crater uriaș. Era foarte vechi și foarte mare. Avea două lacuri. O fâșie de pământ trecea prin mijloc. Un lac era albastru. Celălalt lac era verde.

Polly looked down into a huge crater. It was very old and very big. It held two lakes. A strip of land crossed the middle. One lake was blue. The other lake was green.

Cele două lacuri sunt legate pe sub pământ. Dar arată diferit. Lacul albastru este adânc și arată cerul. Lacul verde este lângă plante, așa că pare verde.

The two lakes are joined under the land. But they look different. The blue lake is deep and shows the sky. The green lake is near plants, so it looks green.

Polly a zburat jos peste fâșia de pământ. A văzut bărci pe o parte. A văzut vaci pe cealaltă parte. Ceața a venit și a acoperit lacurile.

Polly flew low over the strip of land. She saw boats on one side. She saw cows on the other side. Fog came in and covered the lakes.

A așteptat pe un zid vechi. Ceața a plecat. Ambele lacuri erau tot acolo, albastru și verde.

She waited on an old wall. The fog went away. Both lakes were still there, blue and green.
