两公斤的耐心

星期六早上，安娜第一次走到市场。她想买一周的水果和蔬菜。市场里人声鼎沸，色彩缤纷。

On Saturday morning, Ana walked to the market for the first time. She wanted to buy fruit and vegetables for the week. The market was full of people, voices, and bright colors.

她在一个卖西红柿的小摊前停下。“请问多少钱？”她问。桌子后面的老先生看着她。“是做沙拉还是做酱用的？”他说。安娜不知道怎么回答。

She stopped at a small stand with tomatoes. "How much, please?" she asked. The old man behind the table looked at her. "For salad or for sauce?" he said. Ana did not know what to answer.

“做沙拉用的，”她终于说。老先生摇了摇头，指着一个箱子。“这些是做沙拉用的。结实，颜色好。”他又指着另一个箱子。“这些是做酱用的。软，红得发亮，甜。”他笑了笑。“不同的西红柿，不同的用途。”

"For salad," she said finally. The man shook his head. He pointed at one box. "These for salad. Firm. Good color." He pointed at another box. "These for sauce. Soft, very red, sweet." He smiled. "Different tomato, different work."

安娜从每个箱子里各买了一公斤。老先生小心地用纸把它们包好。他送了她一个小柠檬作为礼物。“给你的沙拉用的，”他说。

Ana bought one kilo from each box. The man wrapped them carefully in paper. He gave her a small lemon as a gift. "For your salad," he said.

回到家后，她坐在厨房的桌子旁，看着她的袋子。她觉得自己买的不只是西红柿。

When she got home, she sat at the kitchen table and looked at her bag. She felt like she had bought more than tomatoes.
