Dieses Eis ist echtes Gold. Schick das deiner Freundin mit der Schwäche für Süßes. In Japan gibt es eine alte Stadt namens Kanazawa. Du kaufst dort ein ganz normales Softeis, und dann legt dir jemand ein ganzes Blatt Gold darum.
Das Gold wird geschlagen, bis es ganz flach ist. Es ist dünner als ein Haar. Schon der kleinste Luftzug bewegt es, also müssen die Leute langsam und leise arbeiten und dürfen nicht daneben atmen. Fast das ganze Blattgold Japans entsteht in dieser einen Stadt, und man macht es hier seit mehr als vierhundert Jahren.
Man kann es essen. Gold ist unbedenklich und schmeckt nach fast nichts. Das Eis schmeckt also nach Eis. Es sieht nur aus wie ein Schatz. Die Leute halten es hoch, das Licht trifft es, und die ganze Straße dreht sich um. Dann essen sie zu langsam, oder der Wind findet es, und das Gold rutscht auf die Straße, und alle lachen.
