Živim u starom stablu, pored parka. To je mali park i nije poznat, ali ga dobro poznajem jer idem tamo svaki dan.
Ujutro, kad kiša prestane, spustim se sa stabla i tražim hranu. Provedem neko vrijeme gledajući one koji prolaze stazom. Uvijek ima golubova blizu klupa, čekaju komadić kruha.
Gospodin Jazavac dolazi u deset, uvijek u isto vrijeme. Donosi kruh za golubove i oni ga odmah okruže. Jako se zabavljam gledajući kako se svađaju oko najvećih mrvica.
Subotom se park mijenja. Dolaze obitelji i mali se igraju skrivača među drvećem. Vrlo se loše skrivaju: cijelo vrijeme se smiju, i zato uvijek znam gdje su. Njihovi roditelji sami sebe zabavljaju pričajući na klupama i ne gledaju na sat.
Kad popodne završi, svi idu kući i park utihne. Onda se opet spustim i šećem uz vodu, bez žurbe. Sad u tome uživam više nego ujutro, jer je park samo moj.
Ne trebam ići daleko. Moj park je pored moje kuće, i to je za mene dovoljno.
