Kamar dengan balkon

Marcos tiba di hotel larut malam. Dia lelah. Dia meletakkan kopernya. Seorang wanita duduk di meja depan.

Marcos arrives at the hotel late at night. He is tired. He puts down his suitcase. A woman sits at the desk.

"Saya punya reservasi," katanya. "Nama saya Marcos Soto." Wanita itu mengetik. Wajahnya berubah.

"I have a reservation," he says. "My name is Marcos Soto." The woman types. Her face changes.

"Maaf. Kamar Anda belum siap. Tapi kami punya satu kamar dengan balkon." Dia memberikan kuncinya.

"I am sorry. Your room is not ready. But we have one room with a balcony." She gives him the key.

Liftnya tua. Liftnya berbunyi. Marcos membuka pintu. Dia melihat kota itu: atap rumah, lampu, dan air mancur.

The elevator is old. It makes noise. Marcos opens the door. He sees the city: roofs, lights, and a fountain.

Dia pergi ke balkon. Anginnya dingin. Dua orang berdiri dekat air mancur. Marcos memperhatikan mereka.

He goes onto the balcony. The wind is cold. Two people stand by the fountain. Marcos watches them.
