Das Zimmer mit Balkon

Marcos kommt spät in der Nacht im Hotel an. Er ist müde. Er stellt seinen Koffer ab. Eine Frau sitzt am Empfang.

Marcos arrives at the hotel late at night. He is tired. He puts down his suitcase. A woman sits at the desk.

"Ich habe eine Reservierung", sagt er. "Mein Name ist Marcos Soto." Die Frau tippt. Ihr Gesicht verändert sich.

"I have a reservation," he says. "My name is Marcos Soto." The woman types. Her face changes.

"Es tut mir leid. Ihr Zimmer ist nicht fertig. Aber wir haben ein Zimmer mit Balkon." Sie gibt ihm den Schlüssel.

"I am sorry. Your room is not ready. But we have one room with a balcony." She gives him the key.

Der Aufzug ist alt. Er macht Lärm. Marcos öffnet die Tür. Er sieht die Stadt: Dächer, Lichter und einen Brunnen.

The elevator is old. It makes noise. Marcos opens the door. He sees the city: roofs, lights, and a fountain.

Er geht auf den Balkon. Der Wind ist kalt. Zwei Personen stehen am Brunnen. Marcos beobachtet sie.

He goes onto the balcony. The wind is cold. Two people stand by the fountain. Marcos watches them.
