Kereta terakhir

Tomas memeriksa ponselnya. Sudah lewat tengah malam. Gerbangnya mulai tutup. Dia tidak tahu: kereta berhenti di malam hari.

Tomas checks his phone. It is after midnight. The gates are closing. He does not know: trains stop at night.

Taksi terlalu mahal. Seorang pria menunjuk ke ujung jalan. Tomas menemukan hotel kecil. Dia membayar di mesin. Dia tidur di kamar sempit.

A taxi costs too much. A man points down the street. Tomas finds a small hotel. He pays at a machine. He sleeps in a tiny room.

Paginya, Tomas membeli kopi. Dia naik kereta pertama pulang. Dia lelah tapi senang. Sekarang dia selalu memeriksa: kapan kereta terakhir berangkat?

In the morning, Tomas buys coffee. He takes the first train home. He is tired but happy. Now he always checks: when is the last train?
