Der Wind nahm die Hälfte davon mit. "Könnten Sie das bitte für mich wiederholen?", fragte Polly. Jedes Haus hat dieselben Möbel an denselben Stellen. Eine Feuerstelle in der Mitte. Betten an beiden Seiten. Eine steinerne Anrichte an der Rückwand. Sie ist aus Stein, weil es kein Holz gab.
"Könnten Sie mir sagen, ob das Museum morgen geöffnet ist?", fragte Polly. Sie wusste, dass sie wiederkommen würde. Sie stand am Rand eines Hauses und sah in einen Raum, eingerichtet so, wie jeder einen Raum einrichtet.
