The Last Train

Tomas checks his phone. It is after midnight. The gates are closing. He does not know: trains stop at night.

A taxi costs too much. A man points down the street. Tomas finds a small hotel. He pays at a machine. He sleeps in a tiny room.

Un taxi cuesta demasiado. Un hombre señala la calle. Tomas encuentra un hotel pequeño. Paga en una máquina. Duerme en un cuarto muy pequeño.

In the morning, Tomas buys coffee. He takes the first train home. He is tired but happy. Now he always checks: when is the last train?

Por la mañana, Tomas compra café. Toma el primer tren a casa. Está cansado pero feliz. Ahora siempre pregunta: ¿cuándo es el último tren?
