Di mattina Polly incontra Berta. Berta è una vecchia faina. Vive dentro le mura della città. Mostra la città a Polly.

In the morning Polly meets Berta. Berta is an old stone marten. She lives inside the town walls. She shows Polly the town.

Le strade sono come scale. I balconi quasi si toccano sopra la strada. Tutte le case sono rosa. Le porte sono piccole.

The streets are like stairs. The balconies almost touch over the street. All the houses are pink. The doors are small.

Berta mostra a Polly una casa molto storta. È stretta in basso e larga in alto. Si chiama la Julianeta. È molto famosa e molto vecchia.

Berta shows Polly a very crooked house. It is thin at the bottom and wide at the top. It is called the Julianeta. It is very famous and very old.

Polly e Berta si siedono su un tetto. Dividono un fico. La città rosa è sotto di loro. A Polly piace perdersi un po' qui.

Polly and Berta sit on a roof. They share a fig. The pink town is below them. Polly likes being a little lost here.
