Die rosa Stadt

Polly fliegt über einen Fluss in Spanien. Der Fluss macht eine große Schleife, wie ein Arm. In der Schleife liegt eine kleine Stadt. Alle Häuser sind rosa.

Polly flies over a river in Spain. The river makes a big loop, like an arm. Inside the loop there is a small town. All the houses are pink.

Die Stadt heißt Albarracín. Etwa tausend Menschen leben hier. Die Straßen sind sehr eng. Eine lange Steinmauer klettert den Berg hinauf.

The town is called Albarracín. About a thousand people live here. The streets are very narrow. A long stone wall climbs up the mountain behind the houses.

Polly landet auf einem kleinen Platz. Da ist ein kleiner Brunnen. Sie riecht frisches Brot aus einer Tür. Weit weg hört sie eine Schafsglocke.

Polly lands in a tiny square. There is a small fountain. She smells fresh bread from a door. Far away she hears a sheep bell.

Die Sonne geht unter. Die Lampen gehen an. Die rosa Mauern sehen warm und weich aus. Polly sitzt am Brunnen. Die kleine Stadt schläft ein.

The sun goes down. The lamps come on. The pink walls look warm and soft. Polly sits by the fountain. The little town goes to sleep.
