The Boat Comes In

The morning boat tied up at Stromness. Polly stepped onto wet stone. The wind did not stop. A collie sat on the pier. "Can you show me the way?"

"How long does it take to walk to the city center?" The collie looked at the one narrow street. Eleven minutes, he said.

"시내 중심까지 걸어가면 얼마나 걸리나요?" 콜리는 좁은 길 하나를 바라보았다. 십일 분, 하고 그가 말했다.

"Can you tell me if there are any interesting events today?" The boat times are the news here, he said. There is a chapel built by prisoners. There is a village under the sand.

"오늘 무슨 재미있는 행사가 있는지 알려 주시겠어요?" 여기서는 배 시간이 뉴스라고 그가 말했다. 포로들이 지은 예배당이 있다. 모래 아래 묻힌 마을도 있다.
