O Barco Chega

O barco da manhã atracou em Stromness. Polly pisou pedra molhada. O vento não parava. Um collie estava sentado no cais. "Pode indicar-me o caminho?"

The morning boat tied up at Stromness. Polly stepped onto wet stone. The wind did not stop. A collie sat on the pier. "Can you show me the way?"

Ela ainda não sabia para onde ir. Há cerca de setenta ilhas. Só cerca de vinte têm pessoas. "Pode dizer-me onde posso apanhar um autocarro?", perguntou ela.
