Una giornata al fiume

Un fiume gira attorno alla città, come un anello. Oggi Polly visita il fiume. Vuole una giornata lenta.

A river goes around the town, like a ring. Today Polly visits the river. She wants a slow day.

Vicino all'acqua fa fresco. L'acqua è pulita e fredda. Gli alberi si piegano sul fiume. Libellule azzurre volano sull'acqua. Polly cammina sul piccolo sentiero.

By the water it is cool. The water is clean and cold. Trees hang over the river. Blue dragonflies fly over the water. Polly walks on the small path.

Guarda piccoli insetti sull'acqua. Ascolta il fiume. In alto, le case rosa guardano giù.

She watches little insects on the water. She listens to the river. High above, the pink houses look down.

Di sera una volpe viene a bere. Polly e la volpe si guardano. Poi la volpe va via. Polly vola a casa felice.

In the evening a fox comes to drink. Polly and the fox look at each other. Then the fox goes away. Polly flies home happy.
