Ein Tag am Fluss

Ein Fluss geht um die Stadt, wie ein Ring. Heute besucht Polly den Fluss. Sie will einen langsamen Tag.

A river goes around the town, like a ring. Today Polly visits the river. She wants a slow day.

Am Wasser ist es kühl. Das Wasser ist sauber und kalt. Bäume hängen über dem Fluss. Blaue Libellen fliegen über das Wasser. Polly geht auf dem kleinen Pfad.

By the water it is cool. The water is clean and cold. Trees hang over the river. Blue dragonflies fly over the water. Polly walks on the small path.

Sie schaut kleinen Insekten auf dem Wasser zu. Sie hört dem Fluss zu. Hoch oben schauen die rosa Häuser herab.

She watches little insects on the water. She listens to the river. High above, the pink houses look down.

Am Abend kommt ein Fuchs zum Trinken. Polly und der Fuchs schauen sich an. Dann geht der Fuchs weg. Polly fliegt glücklich nach Hause.

In the evening a fox comes to drink. Polly and the fox look at each other. Then the fox goes away. Polly flies home happy.
