Der Name bedeutet Garten der sechs guten Dinge. Eine alte Idee sagt: Ein Garten braucht sechs Dinge, und kein Garten hat alle. Ab achtzehnhundertvierundsiebzig durften alle Leute kommen.
Jedes Jahr am ersten November beginnt die Arbeit. Gärtner stellen neben jede große Kiefer eine hohe Stange. Seile gehen von der Spitze zu den Ästen. Der Baum steht in einem großen Kegel aus Seilen. Der Schnee ist hier sehr schwer.
Eine berühmte Kiefer braucht achthundert Seile. Polly sah den Fischen zu.
