Am letzten Tag fliegt Polly weit. Der Canyon teilt sich in zwei Arme. Dort sieht sie einen hohen Turm aus rotem Fels mit zwei Spitzen oben.
Er heißt Spinnenfelsen. Die Navajo sagen, die Spinnenfrau lebt oben. Sie sagen, sie hat den Diné das Weben gezeigt.
Polly landet nicht darauf. Manche Dinge sind schöner nur zum Anschauen. Sie setzt sich auf die andere Seite und schaut auf das Licht. Erst Gold, dann Orange, dann Grau.
Ein kleiner Vogel singt unter ihr. Der Klang kommt von den Wänden zurück. Polly denkt lange an den Canyon. Dann fliegt sie nach Westen.
