La muralla vieja

Hoy Polly visita la muralla. Sube por la montaña como unas escaleras grandes. Tiene muchas torres. Berta se queda en casa.

Today Polly visits the wall. It climbs up the mountain like big stairs. It has many towers. Berta stays at home.

La muralla tiene más de mil años. La construyó una familia llamada los Banu Razin. El pueblo lleva su nombre.

The wall is more than a thousand years old. A family called the Banu Razin built it. The town has their name.

Polly vuela a la torre más alta. Allí conoce a un búho grande. Él duerme de día. Trabaja de noche.

Polly flies to the tower at the top. She meets a big owl there. He sleeps in the day. He works at night.

Desde la torre el pueblo parece muy pequeño. Los tejados rosados están dentro de la curva del río. Polly mira durante mucho tiempo. Después le dice gracias a la muralla.

From the tower the town looks tiny. The pink roofs sit inside the river loop. Polly watches for a long time. Then she says thank you to the wall.
