Este laboratorio enfría muchísimo a los pequeños átomos. En el espacio casi no hay gravedad, así que los átomos fríos se mueven de una forma extraña y lenta. El laboratorio puede observarlos durante más tiempo que los laboratorios en la Tierra, y eso ayuda mucho a los científicos.
