Quiz ↓La mañana llegó suave y gris. Era hora de irse. Toda la selva echaba vapor. El sol calentó las hojas mojadas, y la niebla subió y formó nubes bajas. La selva estaba soltando el aire. Polly sacudió la lluvia de sus alas azul turquesa y voló hacia arriba para mirar una última vez.
Desde muy alto, vio lo que hacía la selva. La niebla era agua de las hojas. Subía hasta el cielo. Después se iba muy lejos y caía como lluvia en otras tierras. La selva da lluvia a lugares lejanos.
Debajo de ella, el río marrón seguía corriendo. Llevaba el agua hacia el otro lado, hacia un mar lejano. Agua arriba y agua abajo. Los árboles y el río movían la misma lluvia.
Polly voló hacia el este, hacia el mar. El dosel se convirtió en una piel verde y suave. Detrás de ella, el Amazonas seguía haciendo su propia lluvia. No miró atrás. Algunos lugares te los llevas contigo.
