A Beach With Nothing On It

The last part of the coast is empty. There is a long white beach called Bahía de las Águilas. It is about eight kilometres long. There are no hotels and no bars. There is no road. You come by boat.

The beach is inside a national park. That is why it is still empty. The park is very big, and most of it is sea.

La spiaggia si trova dentro un parco nazionale. Per questo è ancora vuota. Il parco è molto grande, e per lo più è mare.

In spring, very big sea turtles come up this beach at night. They lay their eggs in the sand. In the morning you can see their tracks.

In primavera, tartarughe di mare molto grandi risalgono questa spiaggia di notte. Depongono le uova nella sabbia. Al mattino si possono vedere le loro tracce.

Polly flies home in the afternoon. She goes back over the green mountains and the coffee farms. Below her the fishing boats come in. In one foot she holds a small blue stone.
