The Amazon, the Biggest River

The Amazon is a great river in South America. It is the biggest river in the world by the amount of water. It carries more water than many other large rivers all together.

Amazon ni mto mkubwa huko Amerika Kusini. Ni mto mkubwa zaidi duniani kwa kiasi cha maji. Unabeba maji mengi kuliko mito mingine mingi ukiyaweka pamoja.

The river starts high in the mountains and flows to the sea. On the way, it passes through nine countries. Around the river there is a huge green forest, full of trees, birds, fish, and many other animals.
