Las ovejas en la puerta

Polly se levanta temprano. Se sienta en la muralla con Berta. Oye muchas campanillas pequeñas. Las ovejas pasan por la puerta vieja.

Polly gets up early. She sits on the wall with Berta. She hears many little bells. Sheep come through the old gate.

Un pastor camina detrás de las ovejas. Tiene un perro blanco grande. El perro es muy tranquilo. Las ovejas conocen el camino.

A shepherd walks behind the sheep. He has a big white dog. The dog is very calm. The sheep know the way.

Polly pregunta al perro: ¿puedo ir yo también? El perro dice que sí con la cabeza. Caminan hasta el prado verde. Las ovejas comen hierba todo el día.

Polly asks the dog: can I come? The dog nods. They walk up to the green meadow. The sheep eat grass all day.

Por la tarde caminan a casa. Polly va montada en una oveja. Se siente parte de la familia. Es un buen día.

In the evening they walk home. Polly rides on a sheep. She feels like part of the family. It is a good day.
