Polly fliegt an der Küste entlang. Auf einer Seite sind grüne Berge. Auf der anderen Seite ist das Meer. Die Straße dazwischen ist sehr schmal. Das ist der Südwesten der Dominikanischen Republik. Nicht viele Besucher kommen hierher.
Polly folgt der Straße nach Süden. Kleine Flüsse kommen aus den Bergen und fließen ins Meer. Das Flusswasser ist kalt. Das Meerwasser ist warm.
Der Strand hier hat keinen Sand. Er besteht aus kleinen runden Steinen. Sie sind grau, weiß und braun. Die Wellen bewegen die Steine, und sie machen ein lautes Geräusch.
Polly geht auf den Steinen. Dann bleibt sie stehen. Ein Stein ist blau. Er ist auch innen blau. Er sieht aus wie Wasser, das hart geworden ist.
