Polly a volé haut avec les vautours. Ils montaient en cercles lents. Les grands oiseaux lui ont fait de la place. Ses lunettes brillaient au soleil.

Polly flew high with the vultures. They went up in slow circles. The big birds made room for her. Her glasses shone in the sun.

Les vautours voient très bien. Un oiseau voit de la nourriture au loin et descend. Les autres oiseaux le voient et le suivent. La nouvelle va vite, sans aucun bruit.

Vultures see very well. One bird sees food far away and goes down. The other birds see it and follow. News moves fast without a sound.

De petits scarabées travaillent dans l'herbe. Ils roulent des boules de bouse. La nuit, ils regardent les étoiles. Les étoiles leur montrent le chemin.

Small beetles work in the grass. They roll balls of dung. At night, they look at the stars. The stars show them the way.

Ici, rien ne se perd. Tout a un rôle. L'herbe nourrit les animaux. Polly est rentrée lentement.

Nothing is wasted here. Everything has a job. The grass feeds the animals. Polly flew home slowly.
